How do I get there?

The Governor's House was originally a simple defense castle. Enlarged over the centuries, it became a real fortified house, of vast proportions. As a result of splits and successions, it ends up being abandoned.

It ended up being abandoned with the status of "good without a master" and throughout the 20th century, it saw a gradual collapse, until it threatened public security with imminent danger. Louis Causse, then Architect of the Buildings of France in charge of the project, will evoke the circumstances and methods which allowed the impressive ruin to be transformed into a Center of Interpretation of Architecture and Heritage.
