Your itinerary
Stage 1: Departure from the main square of Saint-Rémy
From the square, go up the rue du château to find yourself in front of its entrance door. On the left, take the small path that goes up then follow the D120 to the left. At the crow's-foot intersection, turn left then the first path on the right in the forest.
Step 2: Direction the hamlet of Tolongergues
After 800 m along the dry stone walls, take the path to the right which turns into a road. Don't miss the fountain and the dovecote on your left then further on your right, you arrive at the old church of Toulongergues and the castle of Toulongergues.
The church of Toulongergues was built more than 1 years ago and is endowed with great architectural and artistic richness that will amaze your curiosity. You can discover its interior during a guided tour led by one of the tour guides from the West Aveyron Tourist Office.
Stage 3: On the roads of Saint-Jacques
Then continue your walk to the intersection with the D120. Go opposite and continue for 300 m before turning on a path to the right where you can admire caselles. Follow the path for 500 m, then turn left towards the hamlet of Mauriac. Cross the hamlet then take the path to the right for 500 m. Then continue on the GR36 on the right, also the way to Santiago de Compostela, to the starting point.
