Description
Morlhon-le-Haut is an ideal short stroll for couples, families, or groups of friends. You can also enjoy fishing, pétanque, a picnic by the water, or a convivial meal at the open-air café.
There are numerous picnic tables and restrooms available. The lake is well-shaded and perfect for a relaxing moment. Several parking spaces are available. This trail is unmarked, but the route around the lake is straightforward.

Your itinerary
Step 1: Departure from the leisure center parking lot
OTOA
Parking is available at the site entrance (grass parking lot or in front of the multi-sports field: some spaces may be available). Do not park on the campervan pitches.
Head straight down to the lake, passing between the tennis court and the Aveyron straw hut, to reach the banks. Start your short hike by going all the way around to the left.

Step 2: Follow the lake as close to the banks as possible

Walk along the lake. Return to the road for a few meters, then take the wide path on the right, which will lead you to the fishing pontoon. Leave the banks to go back up to the track above, then go back down to the right towards the lake.
Further on, cross the Doulouze stream via a small wooden bridge and climb back up to the parking lot.
