Your itinerary
Step 1: Departure from the motorhome area

Departure from the campervan area. Turn right. Pass in front of the multi-service grocery store and the bakery. Follow the GR36 markings (white and red), Chemin de Compostelle, Le Conques-Toulouse. Leave the departmental road by taking the road opposite which goes up towards the Bellevue housing estate. You are on the road called Chemin de Saint Jacques. After 20 meters, turn right, still on the same road Chemin de Saint Jacques. At the end of the tarmac road, leave the last house on your left and follow the dirt road opposite. Cross the departmental road and continue on the path opposite. Turn around to admire the pretty view of the village of Monteils. Stony path and slightly steep climb. Take your time. The path enters the forest then arrives on an open plateau.
Stage 2: Viewpoint over the Aveyron valley

50 meters on the left of the path, make a small detour to go to the foot of the antenna and see the magnificent viewpoint over the Aveyron valley to Villefranche de Rouergue. Return to the intersection and continue the path on the right. The path is shaded and continues on the plateau in the undergrowth.
Stage 3: Desert Plateau

After a plot planted with fir trees, you arrive at a very clear area with few trees and vegetation. Very good view of the surroundings. Leave the path that turns left by taking a right. A few meters further on, take a left and go back down the entire hill to reach the departmental road and take a right to reach the starting point.
