You were more than 100 tourist providers present Thursday, November 23 in Najac to take stock of the 2023 season and discuss projects together. Thank you for this great mobilization and the good atmosphere throughout the evening!

Complete data for the 2023 season results
It is overall a good season for West Aveyron Tourism and the Bastides and Gorges of Aveyron destination, in a difficult economic context and with hot weather. Enough similar to the 2022 season, which had also been good, the 2023 season confirms the increasingly important role of seasonal wings. Like last year, spring was good, but June and July were below expectations, while August was very good and autumn too.

Ouest Aveyron Tourisme is implementing a communication and promotion plan to reveal the destination Bastides and Gorges of Aveyron : editions, photos and videos, animation of the website and social networks, press relations and influencers…
We brought in at the beginning of July Jules and Maryne – Explore the World in partnership with ADAT Aveyron. In addition to their posts and their blog article, they have produced “carte blanche” a superb 2 min video, full of sweetness.
We also entrusted to Rémy LAFAURIE – Sémalou Studio The realisation of 6 videos especially for families (4 teasers of 30 seconds and 2 trailers of 1min30).

Operation Massif Central Outdoor Center
The SPL Ouest Aveyron Tourisme is the winner of a Call for Outdoor Nature Center Projects, launched by the Massif Central! The proposed project for the Bastides and Gorges of Aveyron and Viaur is part of the strategy tourist development of West Aveyron Community for 2023-2026.
Efforts will focus on la hiking and outdoor sports activities, innovative and attractive projects for families, to become a recognized and reference destination throughout Occitanie.
The inhabitants and tourist clienteles regional proximity, in particular families et young urban workers, are in fact at the heart of the tourism strategy and their interest in our territory is also a attractiveness issue.
Tourism providers will be involved in the implementation of the projects from the start of the mission, in January 2024.
Aid for tourism businesses
La CCI Aveyron et West Aveyron Community offer devices for financial support, byaccompagnement and other interventions for tourism businesses.
Opportunity before 31/12/2023 for accommodation providers and restaurateurs: the Sustainable Tourism Fund allows you to achieve a free environmental diagnosis as well as benefit from funding investments and/or studies.
