Oreilles en balade à Montsalès – Balade sonore

We advise you to start your visit at the cemetery, you will understand the village better, you will look at the facades of the houses differently when you know that the castle was demolished during the revolution…. 

Then get back in your car and stop at the Brignolles wash house. A dream place that will come to life for 3 minutes in your ears... Your children will learn the difference between trempadou and lavadou!

Then take the car again to park in the center of Montsalès, in front of the tower, the last vestige of the castle. The tower may be open for an exhibition... above all, take advantage of it. By listening to the audio document, you will learn why the municipality transformed this place into an art gallery.

A few meters further, the church. There, the adults will listen to the memories of a communicant and the children will discover all kinds of sins!

Continue on foot, in the village, on the left a path will be indicated to you, it leads to the Flancou wash house, a very beautiful walk in the woods, freshness...

And if you're still too hot, take the car and go pray to Saint Margaret! The elders will tell you how the rain was brought.

The routes include six stops. At each listening point, signage will tell you where to stop. The listening points are independent, you are free to choose the order and the listening numbers. You can also choose to move from one village to another, focusing on a theme such as water, religion, bastides, rescued people and castrums…
