Over 100 tourism providers were present in Najac on Thursday, November 23rd to review the 2023 season and discuss future projects. Thank you for your fantastic turnout and the great atmosphere throughout the evening!

Complete data for the 2023 season results
It is overall a good season for West Aveyron Tourism and the Bastides and Gorges of Aveyron destination, in a difficult economic context and with hot weather. Enough similar to the 2022 season, which had also been good, the 2023 season confirms the increasingly important role of seasonal wings. Like last year, spring was good, but June and July were below expectations, while August was very good and autumn too.

Ouest Aveyron Tourisme is implementing a communication and promotion plan to showcase the Bastides and Gorges of Aveyron destination : publications, photos and videos, website and social media management, press and influencer relations…
We brought in Jules and Maryne – Explore le Monde in early July in partnership with ADAT Aveyron. In addition to their posts and blog article, they created a superb 2-minute video , full of warmth, as part of a "carte blanche" project.
We also entrusted Rémy LAFAURIE – Sémalou Studio with the production of 6 videos specifically for families (4 teasers of 30 seconds and 2 trailers of 1min30).

Operation Massif Central Outdoor Center
SPL Ouest Aveyron Tourisme is a winner of a Call for Projects for Outdoor Activity Hubs , launched by the Massif Central! The project proposed for the Bastides and Gorges of the Aveyron and Viaur, is part of the tourism development strategy of Ouest Aveyron Communauté for 2023-2026.
Efforts will focus on hiking and outdoor sports activities , innovative and attractive projects for families, to become a recognized and leading destination in Occitanie.
The local residents and regional tourist clientele , in particular families and young urban professionals , are indeed at the heart of the tourism strategy and their interest in our territory is also an issue of attractiveness.
Tourism providers will be involved in the implementation of the projects from the start of the mission, in January 2024.
Aid for tourism businesses
The Aveyron Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Ouest Aveyron Communauté offer financial support, guidance and other interventions for tourism businesses.
Opportunity before 31/12/2023 for accommodation providers and restaurateurs: the Sustainable Tourism Fund allows you to carry out a free environmental diagnosis and benefit from investment and/or study funding .
