Exposition Guy Lafitte à la Manufacture

On the occasion of the recent donation of Guy Lafitte's archives, the Manufacture is offering an exhibition on this famous French Jazz saxophonist
The exhibition is made up of 7 panels retracing the life and work of Guy Lafitte, personal documents, a video documentary "Le Jazz de Guy Lafitte (1988)" and a playlist to listen to on site.
The exhibition is a summary of Guy Lafitte's archives which show:
– the man and his personality
– the musician and his conception of Jazz
– his commitment as a citizen
Thanks to his very present personal writings, he transmits to us a part of his being and his work.
Guy Lafitte also performed in Villefranche in 1993 during a memorable concert which was recorded with AJAR.
The exhibition will be presented at the Solelho de la Manufacture from May 14 to June 29.
