About us
Local cuisine in the heart of the Causse de Limogne between Villefranche and Limogne. A warm welcome and friendliness set the tone.
La Bergerie was created in 1974 by the Richard family. After a few months of collaboration between Jean-Pierre & Monique (former owners) and Marien & Ludovic (new owners), the latter took over in February 2018.
Since the resumption, work has been done little by little. In order to bring the establishment up to date and with the new owners. The team of Marien and Ludovic is reinforced by Ludivine at the service, Kimberly in the kitchen, the sheep in the garden.
Our values are conviviality, local work, homemade. Aveyron is found on our plates with calf's head, Estofinade, stuffed chicken, etc. We are constantly trying to expand our range of local ingredients. We currently work with Le Pavillon du Causse, Au Bec Fin, Ferme de Pecanot, the Cadrieu market gardener and Cajarc potatoes. And we are still looking for collaborations…
The restaurant is located in a quiet location on the edge of the D911 with ample parking. The restaurant is divided into 3 rooms. It is even possible to privatize a room for 10 people or more, depending on demand. Our three toilets (men/women/people with reduced mobility) are completely renovated. We chose to heat the restaurant with pellet stoves.
We are open every lunchtime, except Wednesday.
Opening possible in the evening by reservation and from 20 people.
During the months of July and August, the Bergerie closes its doors and moves to the Table de Bannac, located in the Camping Lac aux Oiseaux, 500m as the crow flies from the Bergerie. To enjoy the large covered terrace among the trees.
