Nature Walk

Description

Departure from the church of Arcanhac. A pleasant, shaded nature walk. A slight climb leads to the ridgeline paths, from which you can enjoy the view. A section of quiet, shaded road will allow you to discover hamlets, each with its own unique characteristics. Be respectful and keep your dogs on a leash when walking along a field where a herd is grazing.
This loop has been marked as PR Yellow by the Town Hall of La Fouillade.

Your itinerary

Getting to the starting point to report a problem

Step 1: Departure from the church of Arcanhac

Direction Route de la Tapie then at the cross turn right. About 500m take the path on the right which will guide you along the ridge. Continue to Route de Dubriés, turn left, then right onto the path which joins the road. Follow the path on the right towards La Croze, Labadenq. Cross the D544 towards Routes de Ginestous and Frayssinet.
At the L'Estrade crossroads, go straight towards Route des Treilles, then Chemin de La Coste, until you descend into the chestnut grove.

Step 2: Head towards the Gransagou source and return to the start

A little before reaching the road, you have a path on your left which will take you to the Source de Gransagou (round trip).
At the end of the path, turn left then right towards Arcanhac.
