Description
Relatively short stage with little elevation gain, between Salles Courbatiès and Villeneuve d'Aveyron, 8 km on the causse.
Accessible by train, arriving at the Salles-Courbatiès SNCF train station. The “Toulouse – Aurillac” line runs 6 trains/day on weekdays and 3 to 4 trains on weekends. Tickets cost €1 on the first weekend of the month. It is called “La ligne des Bastides” and comes with an Occitanie Rail Tour Pass, which costs €10 and can be purchased online. Regular tickets are available on SNCF Connect.
In Villeneuve, bus line LIO n°205 “Villefranche – Figeac”.
