The start of this route is accessible by train via Najac station.
Suitable for mountain bikes, electric mountain bikes, electric hybrid bikes.
Marked MTB circuit No. 4 red.

Your itinerary
Stage 1: Departure from the bottom of the village of Najac, Pont de la Frégère or SNCF station
Departure from the wilderness base – AAGAC if you have rented a bike.
Departure from Camping le Païsserou if you are staying there.
Otherwise, park along the D39 between the campsite entrance and the Frégère bridge.
Take the entrance to the campsite, opposite reception, turn right then take the iron footbridge to cross the Aveyron.
Join the road, then turn to the right to join the D39, Parisot – Najac axis.
Step 2: Reach the plateau and Villevayre
Turn on your left towards the D39, towards Parisot, Mazerolles then left again on the small road.
Continue on this road until you reach another road which you will take on your left. Cross and pass the place called Cournayres.
Arriving at another road intersection, the D47, take opposite, towards the place called La Querbes.
From there left, always straight towards Cabirol then left towards Baussaguet.
In this hamlet, turn right towards the place called La Garrigue, then right towards Villevayre.
Step 3: Leave Villevayre by taking a path.
Pass in front of the church, then take a path on your left, left again on a path then take the road on your right.
Cross the place called La Bouyerie and at the exit turn left and then find a road further away, the D47.
Take it on the left and follow it for approximately 1.3km then a path on the right.
Find the D594 further down, take it on the left to go down to the Saint Blaise bridge.
Step 4: Return from the Saint Blaise bridge to your starting point
After crossing the bridge.
Take the small path on the left that goes down and allows you to follow the river through a field.
Please remain discreet, this section is private; the owner accepts the passage of hikers and cyclists.
Continue going up the river, left bank until you arrive at the nature base.
Drive slowly because there are lots of people there, especially many children on the site.
Cross the base, pass the restaurant, the campsite reception and take the small road that goes up.
Return to your parking location.
