Description
This course is very good for beginners. If you choose to take this circuit on an electric mountain bike, it can then be classified as a family route.
This is the ideal course for groups with people of different sporting levels.
The start of this route is accessible by train via Najac station.
Suitable for mountain bikes, electric mountain bikes, electric hybrid bikes.
Circuit marked no. 2 in blue.

Your itinerary
Stage 1: Departure from the bottom of the village of Najac, Pont de la Frégère or SNCF station
Departure from the wilderness base – AAGAC if you have rented a bike.
Departure from Camping le Païsserou if you are staying there.
Otherwise, park along the D39 between the campsite entrance and the Frégère bridge.
Take the D39 to go up to the village of Najac. The village is on your left. Go to the first intersection.
Step 2: Head towards Saint André de Najac
At the intersection take the D239 towards Saint André de Najac.
After the carpooling area and the panorama of the village of Najac, take the first road on your right.
In the housing estate, turn right again then right again on the path. Continue on this wide track. Do not take the first path on the right which goes down steeply.
At the intersection of 4 paths, continue opposite.
Arriving under the VVF, take the small path on the right which zig zags down, right then left to a magnificent viewpoint over Najac.
Step 3: Departure from the viewpoint and direction Najac
Leave from the viewpoint passing between 2 concrete posts and enter the VVF (below). At the end take the path on the left.
Stay on the path until you arrive at a paved road, take it on the left.
Join the D638, take it on the right.
Arriving at the D239, on the right is direction St André de Najac and on the left is Najac. Head straight ahead, still on the D638.
At the next intersection, Sourbins is on your right. To turn left.
A few meters, you are on the D39, axis between Najac and La Fouillade.
Be careful of car traffic, turn left to the village of Najac.
Step 4: Visit the village of Najac
On your arrival in Najac, take Place du Faubourg opposite, towards the cutlery, the kiosk, go down rue du Barriou, du Bourguet, rue du château, rue haute Alphonse de Poitiers then towards the church.
Step 5: Return to your starting point
From the Saint Jean church, take Rue de la Pause which goes down quite steeply.
Then turn right, you are in the heart of the Pause district, passing an old bread oven which has just been restored. Continue going down.
After an old inn (large carriage gate), turn right onto the small path that goes down.
Follow it until you reach the asphalt road, the D39.
Find your car parked on your right.
