Saubayre Lake – 2,1 km

The tour of the lake is without any difficulty, pleasant walk with the family, a playground entertains the little ones. Swimming and boats are prohibited on the lake. Fishing is authorized during the opening period. You can extend the walk by taking the marked path which takes you to the heart of a chestnut grove and you will go back down by the “Roman way” Be respectful, keep your dogs on a leash when you are walking along a field where a herd is grazing.

The Cross of Sainte-Germaine – 3,9 km

Walk to do with the family, path without difficulty and shaded. Nice viewpoint at the level of the rocks. Two possibilities of returning by the village or by the starting route. Be respectful, keep your dogs on a leash when you go along a field where a herd is grazing.
This PR was created and marked out by the Town Hall of La Fouillade; yellow PR type markings.
 

Hiking the Cross of Sainte-Germaine

The small Arcanhac loop – 4,8 km

Nice walk for young and old along the Bertrandie stream. You will pass over the Roman bridge built from a single stone. You will stay on the road until the hamlet of Coste Couronne, and opposite the Cross you take the path on your left which will take you to the Treilles trail. (watch out for the beehives in the woods) Be respectful, keep your dogs on a leash when you walk along a field where a herd is grazing.

Longcol and its valley – 7,6 km

The circuit will guide you through fields and woods, to the Aveyron valley. A walk without great difficulty, except for the climb of the ladder at Longcol, which is fixed on the rock. The path which dominates the Aveyron valley, will allow you to discover the castle of Longcol. This old medieval building, which has been restored, is today a private property. The most observant will be able to distinguish the castles of Najac and Courbières. Be respectful, keep your dogs on a leash when you are walking along a field where a herd is grazing.

The great Arcanhac loop – 11,4 km

Departure from the church of Arcanhac Nature walk, pleasant, shaded. A little difference in altitude to access the paths along the ridges, you will then be able to appreciate the view. A section of road with little traffic and shade, will allow you to discover hamlets which each have a unique particularity. Be respectful, keep your dogs on a leash when you are walking along a field where a herd is grazing.

Along the Serène – 11,9 km

This circuit is partly composed of small, quiet roads and tree-lined paths along the Serène. Not very difficult. Two pretty viewpoints on the circuit: the first on the Crémades road and the second on the Crouzet plateau. Be respectful, keep your dogs on a leash when you are walking along a field where a herd is grazing.
