Le Moulin de Castel

Visit of the Mill with video presentation of the restoration and demonstration of milling. The miller's house with exhibition of local fauna and flora, with photos and explanatory sheets. Very shaded botanical trail with 75 plants, shrubs and trees. Free distribution of marked route diagrams concerning the five routes of different distances and configurations. Permanent routes, orienteering with maps. Natura 2000 trail marked and documented (3 km).

Departmental prize for the enhancement of Aveyronnais heritage, 2020 jury favorite category.

The jury awarded a prize to the association of the Moulin de Castel and the Heritage of La Rouquette for the restoration, safeguarding, animation and operation of the Moulin de Castel for this project, which lasted no less than 30 years.
