Your itinerary
Stage 1: Departure from the town of Martiel

Starting point on the patus Martiellou (with a caselle and its shepherds) from the town center. Go down the heart of the village, pass in front of the church then take the alley on the left after the wells. At the bottom of the hill, cross the Miquélie bridge, turn right, join and cross the RD911. Immediately, take the slightly uphill path to the left. This dirt road runs parallel to the RD911. Follow it for about 2 km to its intersection with a small paved road.
Step 2: From hamlet to hamlet

Turn left onto the road. After about 30 meters, take the path on the right. At the place called Bessou, there is a pretty old building. Continue straight ahead, passing near a sawmill located in the hamlet of Alemands. At the various intersections in this hamlet, take the path straight ahead leading to the hamlet of L'Héritier. At L'Héritier, continue straight ahead at the intersections. When you arrive in Marroule, turn left onto the road joining the RD911. Cross the RD, towards the church, passing in front of an animal shoeing workshop.
Stage 3: From Marroule to Lake Bannac
At the church, continue straight ahead and after 30 meters, turn right. 50 meters further, you will enter a narrow dirt road in the shape of a plant tunnel. At the end of this path, take the path on the left towards the hamlet of Moutigues (commune of Laramière). On your left, admire the beautiful structure of the mill and its millrace. Just after this mill, turn left and then follow the path straight to the first junction of the Bannac site.
Stage 4: Towards the hamlet of Fontaynous

Take the path on the left that goes up. At the end, near the bar/restaurant, there is an intersection. Take the path on the right that goes down to the lake. Follow it and continue to the hamlet of Fontaynous. Take the road going up for about 150m, then at the crossroads, take the path on the right. On your right, you will see the very pretty buildings at the back of the hamlet of Fontaynous. Go up to the intersection with the road, turn left onto it. Follow this road for 30m, then take the first path on your right. At the top of this path, you will have a commanding view of the northwest part of the town.
Stage 5: Towards the Miquelie washhouse and return to Martiel

This path then begins a descent leading to the Miquélie industrial zone. At the end of the dirt road, turn right (just before the industrial zone) and cross the hamlet of Salelles. At the bottom of this hamlet, cross the bridge. At the end of the bridge, make a round trip of 100 meters to discover the Miquélie wash house. Take the paved road going up towards the village. At the intersection with a calvary, continue on this road going up in front of you for 200 meters then turn left onto the Bournaguet path. At the end of this path, you have arrived at the starting point of the circuit.
