After working for Marie-Claire, Jazz Magazine, Paris Match and Télé 7 Jours, Jean-Marie Périer became the emblematic photographer of “Hello friends” in 1962. For more than ten years, he captured the greatest artists of the 60s, from Françoise Hardy à Jacques Dutronc, going through the Beatles et Michel Berger. His photographs iconic, often published in Polka magazine, immortalize the vibrant life of this decade.

No, the gallery does not offer guided tours. The exhibition is open to the public but do not hesitate to bring your smartphone et headphones to listen the anecdotes surprising things that Jean-Marie Périer has to tell you.

Is the gallery accessible to people with reduced mobility?

We strive to make the gallery accessible to all our visitors. Unfortunately,given that the exhibition is located in a medieval building with spiral staircases on 2 floors and without elevator access to PRMs is not possible. However, we have set up a dedicated room on the ground floor and accessible to people with reduced mobility with a film which lists the 200 photos from the exhibition, they are projected and commented on by Jean-Marie Périer.
