 8 HECTARES OF COMMON AND RENTAL SPACES 

A former lime kiln quarry, an ecological multipurpose room, industrial buildings undergoing eco-renovation, a micro-museum of lime kilns, an equipped kitchen, a covered courtyard, cliffs. 

This is the place that hosts the association La Barrejaire (pronounced la barrejaïre), which in Occitan means the tool that mixes or the thresher, the churn. There is also an SCI.

 A FACTORY OF CONCRETE UTOPIAS 

A place inscribed in the history of the Villeneuve area and the station district.

Spaces that have been created for 10 years with those who come to mix.

A promotion of built and non-built heritage, a working and peasant memory.

A SELF-MANAGED ECO-PLACE 

Collective and cooperative intelligence

where we experiment with ecological and social transition

where we are invited to participate and be autonomous, responsible for doing and being.

Currently, La Mélangeuse permanently hosts the activities of the association la Barrejaire, la Cie empaRtance, la Boîte de Trad', the Kora work shop, Recyclabulle, Les Mains Sensibles, Lent de Mains, Roxane Petitier but also associations, companies and collectives on an ad hoc basis, throughout the year.
