Eglise Saint Jean l'Evangéliste

The Saint-Jean church (XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries) is the first Gothic church in Rouergue (southern Gothic).

The Saint-Jean church is listed as a Historic Monument.

In 1258 the court of the inquisition imposed sentences on the Najacois, condemned for Cathar heresy, and imposed the construction of the Saint-Jean church.

It is a massive, imposing, fortified church of large dimensions. It has a single, wide nave suitable for preaching.
The stained glass windows are made up of pierced slabs, the polylobed rose has 10 rays and the hexagonal bell tower which is located on the side dates from the XNUMXth century.
