Chapelle Notre-Dame de Treize Pierres

Important center of the religious history of this country. Monument of art with Byzantine style frescoes.

Chapel built on the occasion of the plague epidemics in Villefranche de Rouergue (worship of Notre-Dame de Pitié and St-Roch) – 1510. In Languedoc Gothic style, it was entirely decorated with Byzantine-style frescoes created by Nicolaï Greschny, in 1951/1952, iconographer of Russian origin (1912 – 1985). Sanctuary linked to the religious community of the Clerics of Saint-Viateur.

Possibility of visit adapted to children and young people, on reservation.
