Camping le Muret

Description

The small, family-run Le Muret campsite is a lovely wooded park located in the heart of the countryside. An ideal base for relaxing with family or friends and discovering Le Ségala: a little-known region brimming with treasures. 

Here, nature is what you hear and observe. In the evening, you are amazed by the incredible starry sky.

The pitches, clearly delimited by half-height hedges, are spacious (minimum 120 m²) and shaded. On level ground, you can choose your view: lake side or meadow side. 

For added comfort, you can choose our equipped tents, our glamping tipis or our mobile homes. 

The fully equipped tents are large tents that blend beautifully into the landscape and offer breathtaking views of the lake. They feature two compartments and a large awning for rainy or very sunny days. (Beds for 4 people, a small refrigerator, a camping stove, dishes, a picnic table, and 2 sun loungers) For comfortable and hassle-free camping, always immersed in nature. 

The glamping tipis, with their lovely lake views, offer a taste of basic camping with even more comfort. They feature a large wooden deck with an outdoor kitchen, a private dry toilet, and a spacious, cozy interior with linens included in the rental. 

The mobile homes, situated on large pitches overlooking the lake, are bright, airy, and spacious, offering a view of the outdoors. A large terrace with a table and chairs, parasol, and pop-up chairs allows you to enjoy the outdoors. Well-equipped with a coffee maker, kettle, and microwave in the kitchen, and a separate bathroom and toilet, they offer all the joys of camping with added comfort.

The small lake, fed by a spring, is like a little lagoon when you swim in it. Here, nature reigns supreme with its many species of dragonflies, frogs, and other creatures. Enthusiasts and children can enjoy fishing for small roach and carp. 

The bistro offers you the possibility to eat in the morning and from 16pm onwards. 

In the morning, we offer fresh bread, coffee, and breakfast (by reservation). From 16 pm, enjoy delicious homemade ice cream, a selection of Belgian beers, and tapas. In the evening, we offer fresh, flavorful, and spicy summer cuisine prepared with local, preferably organic, ingredients. 

Concerts in July and August on Wednesday evenings (see agenda), mussels and fries on Tuesday evenings (July and August).

Le Muret is also the ideal starting point for exploring our beautiful region. The Land of a Hundred Valleys is a hilly area, steeped in history, waiting to be discovered through its inhabitants and medieval villages. It also boasts vibrant markets full of color and flavor, flea markets, cultural events, and much more.
