Concert : "Renaud / chansons du cœur"

Saturday, October 17 at 20 a.m.

Association la Basse-Cour 10 rue Jacques Borelly 12200 Villefranche-de-Rouergue

A concert full of flavor.

Renaud R is an artist worth discovering. His songs are uplifting; they restore hope to our humanity.

From the age of 10, Renaud R. wrote songs; it was an irresistible urge. He began performing at 16. When he moved to Paris for a while, music became even more deeply rooted in his life. He learned the art of songwriting. Since then, he has been performing countless concerts, collaborating with other artists, and releasing albums. From Parisian cafés to opening for major acts (Tiken Jah Fakoly, Israel Vibration, Clinton Fearon, Earth, Wind & Fire…), from community venues to concerts on the other side of the world (New Zealand, Sri Lanka…), from festivals to house concerts, he loves nothing more than connecting with people and sharing his music. For him, writing and singing are more than a job; they are an existential necessity, an extension of his very being. He cannot help but put into words what he perceives and proclaim it to the world. His gentleness is deeply moving, inviting everyone to walk the path of the heart. His gaze is fixed on the Essential, on Unity, on the Link that connects.

Immersed in meditation since his youth, he has always prioritized the inner quest. His songs are imbued with this, recounting this inner journey, letting go, the quest for freedom, and portraying extraordinary people through their humility.

He praises what he considers a heroic act: living out one's childhood dreams in simplicity, no matter the cost. He evokes forgotten flavors that each of us carries within, revealing beauty like a child's gaze that reconnects us to the sparkle of Being.
