A talking log is not trivial. And when old Gepetto transforms her into a puppet and it starts to live, it becomes extraordinary. - Elée Company
A talking log is not trivial. And when old Gepetto transforms her into a puppet and it starts to live, it becomes extraordinary. Especially since this puppet named Pinocchio turns out to be a prankster and immediately embarks on funny adventures. Ignoring the wise advice of the Talking Cricket, he will be hanged, imprisoned, transformed into a donkey, eaten by a great white shark and then will end up becoming a real little boy.
In an Art Fair setting animated by many colorful paintings, this show rich in twists and turns mixes masks, puppets and Chinese shadows.
More than a story to entertain children Carlo Collodi gives us a subversive text, where learning about life is born of love, experimentation and mistakes; where disobedience is not relegated to the rank of bad deeds but appears as a necessity to grow and finally incarnate as a human being.
