What if, for an afternoon, you went to explore a wild and unspoiled place in the heart of the Viaur gorges?
I propose an immersive stroll through theRoc du Gorb Sensitive Natural Area, a spectacular site where cliffs, river and forests shelter a discreet but fascinating fauna.
Along the path that runs alongside the Viaur, we will learn to observe, listen and read the clues left by the animalsPerhaps we will hear the deep call of the Common Raven echoing in the cliffs, or will we glimpse the swift flight of the Peregrine Falcon above the rocks. On the riverbanks, we will look for traces of the European otter, while forest trails can reveal the nocturnal passages of the Badger and other discreet inhabitants of these landscapes.
This nature walk will also be an opportunity to take the time to look at nature differentlyto understand the balances that shape these environments and to discover the stories told by the cliffs and the river.
The journey will take a round trip of approximately 4,2 km along the Viaur, with an exploration of cliffs around the climbing site, true havens for birds and wildlife.
Meet at the Roc du Gorb car park.
