I invite you to discover the pond at the Montsalès wash house, a discreet but incredibly rich ecosystem, where fascinating biodiversity is hidden.
During 2 hoursWe will take the time to explore the area around the pond, to observe, to search… and above all to understand this world often invisible at first glance. Here, every plant, every movement on the surface of the water tells a story.
We will set off to meet the inhabitants of this small aquatic world: newts, salamanders, frogs, toads, but also a multitude of insects such as the dragonflies and the bridesmaidsThese are all amazing species that we will learn to recognize and get to know better.
Nets, observation boxes and educational tools will allow us to approach these little creatures gently, with respect for life.
Beyond observation, this walk will also be an opportunity to understand why these environments are so precious. I will share with you the keys to better grasp them. the importance of ponds in our landscapestheir essential role for biodiversity… and why it is crucial to preserve them.
