CHATEAU DE BOURNAZEL 227 route de Rignac 12390 Bournazel

Guided tour of the collections and the chapel

May 31, June 28, July 12, August 7 and September 27
Meeting at the reception of the castle at 15 p.m.

Accompanied by the owner, the visitor will be able to discover the 18th century apartment and the rich collection of furniture, paintings and sculptures from the 16th to the 18th century.

The Renaissance library was established thanks to several donors who made part of their personal libraries available to the Bournazel Castle Endowment Fund. This library, which will eventually house 10000 volumes, will allow resident students to conduct research.
The tour will conclude with the chapel known as "the children of Madame de Montespan." This 1710th-century chapel was rebuilt on the second floor of the East Wing, on the very site where the XNUMX inventory mentioned the existence of a chapel. The altarpiece, woodwork, and decor are listed as a Historic Monument.

A special moment that will immerse the visitor in the exceptional artistic atmosphere of the Château de Bournazel.
