USP – Conférence : "Éternel Beethoven"

Far from being an imposing titan, Beethoven speaks to the innermost being of each of us: his piano works, trios, quartets, orchestral music, lieder, his opera Fidelio , and incidental music are all invitations to embrace life and shared joy. The more performers, composers, listeners, and music lovers engage with his work, the more they emerge transformed, uplifted by a feeling and a surge of fraternity. Beethoven's music is essential to us. In this "Beethoven Year," the immense composer reveals himself.
