Between the 11th-century Sauveté, which became a Bastide in the 13th century, and the limestone plateau bordered by the Villefranche fault and the Lot valley, the symbiosis is complete. The Latin will of Odil de Morlhon is the birth certificate of this preserved medieval village, which Thérèse Albert-Rébé invites us to discover.
