A VIRTUOSO AND FUNNY BODY PERCUSSION SHOW!

 Mélisande Rey and Thierry Ranfoie (gold medalists from the Pithiviers Conservatory), two music stands and a fly perform a classical body percussion recital.

Two soloists, a bit stiff and clumsy, invite us to rediscover the forgotten work of an obscure 15th-century composer, Varushnikov Satiroplinovitch, the father of classical body percussion. Using their bodies and various objects as instruments, this musical journey revisits the defining compositions of our time, such as the “Sonata for Bodies and Souls,” “Arriba,” the “Fugue for a Juvenile Delinquent,” and the famous “Technoid Concerto for Palms and Torsos, in C Major.”
For the more daring, the Duo Kor also performs the delicious (and subversive) first movement of the Opera for harmony pipes, with the seriousness and rigor that such an undertaking demands.
