Silence on tourne par la Cie Coeur et Jardin
Sunday, December 20 at 17:00 p.m.
Théâtre des Bastides Quai de la Sénéchaussée 12200 Villefranche-de-Rouergue
Comedy.
A highly successful comedy, written by Patrick Haudecoeur, the author of "Thé à la menthe ou t'es citron" (which received a Molière in 2011) and Gérald Sibleyras.
We are, here, on a film set, and the audience are extras! More specifically, a scene is planned where, in a play, a cuckolded husband leaves the stage to kill his wife's lover… but, theater within theater, things aren't any better on the set: the director, the supporting actor, the star… all have either hidden problems or secrets…
And here are all the ingredients of a comedy gathered in this "Silence, We're Rolling!": greed, cowardice, adultery, jealousy, pride… Burlesque and absurdity constantly rub shoulders. There's a lot of movement on stage, but also, in the background, a questioning of the conventions that govern cinema and theatre.
Laughter is therefore guaranteed with the show from this Toulouse company: Coeur et Jardin, based at the Grenier Théâtre in Toulouse.
