Opéra Bastide – Ateliers pour enfants

Working with international artists, the children will explore various artistic disciplines—visual arts, singing, and dance—and then integrate themselves into the show. They will participate in creating the costumes and sets used on stage, and some will even be able to act in the performances.

Children and their families will also be invited to attend The Fantasticks, an initiative that is particularly close to our hearts: allowing as many people as possible to access opera and musical comedy, promoting understanding, and sharing our passion for live performance.

The workshops will be led by a renowned artistic team, composed of an educator-pianist, a visual artist-decorator, a choreographer-director, an illustrator, as well as occasional interventions from the singers and musicians of the show. The Fantasticks.

Like last year, we will be working with children from the Villefranche-de-Rouergue neighborhoods.
