Students with learning disabilities have their say! This is the message of a film shot by Alexandra Riguet, director and journalist, at the Valin high school in La Rochelle . Featuring a dozen high school students with learning disabilities (dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysphasia, etc.) during a music creation workshop with the rapper Hippocampe Fou , this documentary addresses these invisible disabilities and the difficulties and suffering they cause on a daily basis. For several months, these students learned to write lyrics, sing them, and record them in a studio. They put words to their struggles, eager to share their experiences so that those affected no longer fear the judgment of others.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with director Alexandra Riguet and photographer Marie Monteiro, who created the exhibition "Their words to say" presented at La Manufacture from January 6 to 30.
