Galerie d'Art de la Tour de Montsalès – Mieke Van den Hende

Opening reception with music on June 5th, starting at 19pm, in the presence of the artists.

Mieke Van den Hende is a contemporary artist, born in Ghent, Belgium, who lives and works alternately in Breda (Netherlands) and Livinhac-le-Bas.

An established and demanding artist, she is presenting "In Search of Fertile Land" until June 28th, an exhibition she defines as follows: “I am referring, literally, to fertile ground for the seeds I work with, as well as to the idea that we are part of nature. But I am also looking, figuratively, for fertile ground for myself as an artist and for my works.”

Magnified nature, meticulously crafted textures, cast shadows, splashes of color… The journey promises both escape and reflection. A nature to be protected.

The Tower Gardens They too will receive their share of discovery, with the "Talking Trees" by Arnaud ElisabethBorn from his imagination, forged in his workshop named after Espinasse in Tarn-et-Garonne.

A self-taught sculptor, Arnaud Elisabeth has metals in his blood! Pure iron, steels, brass, copper… heated in the fire of his forge, his “Talking Trees” will offer us a unique space for strolling at the foot of the Tower.
