Exposition – La Révolte des Croates : du roman à la BD

In 2024, at a book fair in Aveyron, the novelist Sophie Loubière and the comic book author Jean-Christophe Vergne they discover a common point: Villefranche-de-Rouergue.
After an exchange about a dramatic event that occurred in this city on September 17, 1943, an event recounted by Sophie Loubière
in his novel In proportion to our silencesThey decided to embark on adapting the latter into a comic strip: a collaborative project aimed at bringing to the attention of all generations an unknown part of our history and that of Villefranche-de-Rouergue.

The exhibition will feature original pages from this comic book, which is currently being created.
