Exposition “France, un album de famille” de Yann Arthus-Bertrand et Sylvie Bosc
"It has been more than thirty years since Yann Arthus-Bertrand With his lens, he captures the French in their most authentic reality. Far from stereotypical images, he photographs living faces, human stories, individuals in all their uniqueness. Faces we pass every day without really seeing them, and yet they seem familiar, thanks to a look, a posture, a smile.
Faces and lives that this humanist and committed photographer, known throughout the world for The Earth from Abovewanted to be in the same frame, under the same light, on the same ordinary burlap canvas that became mythical; a canvas that equalizes chances and magnifies differences.
Since 2023, a mobile photo studio had been travelling across France for two years, traveling through cities and countryside.
In October 2024, thanks to the initiative of the Lycée Beauregard and the town of Villefranche-de-Rouergue, the photographer and his team set up their legendary photo studio in the Augustinian church. For four days, more than 800
