Espaces Culturels : Ouverture de la saison "Un autre jour"

After having participated in several final stages of the French Slam Line Cup where he rubbed shoulders with, among others, the creator of the Slam Poetry movement Frank Smith, Jérôme Pinel was the winning slam poet of the Slam Poetry World Cup in 2019.

His texts from very different universes, his style, his transmission and his theatrical performance punctuated by live music, carry the spectator into the story. We see the images scroll by, we enter his universe.

Note the exceptional diction, the aesthetic pronunciation that delights the ears. It's fascinating!

This concert "Another Day" linked to Jérôme Pinel's first solo album, offers "a repertoire of small, chiseled stories where the intimate mixes with the globalized world."

"Still keen to make words dance, always ready to overwhelm the listener with punchy lyrics, Jérôme Pinel explores the different facets of a modern French song. He alternates between a capella songs and slams with rapped, spoken and sung phrases on orchestrations by Daran and played by a combo that is as sensitive as it is effective. The result is a generous song with lyrics full of emotions oscillating between soul, rock and urban music. Somewhere between Nougaro and Oxmo Puccino.
