Lecture by Alain Vircondelet
Algeria will remain Albert Camus' great pain. Alain VIRCONDELET retraces the writer's years of war, from 1954 to his fatal accident in January 1960. He recounts the conflict with its violence, its injustices, its terror, its betrayals, its silences but also the daily life of Albert Camus , harnessed to his work as a writer and publisher, traveling to lighten the weight of his suffering, loving in Don Juan despairing several women at the same time and refusing the position of France and the intellectuals of the time.
Far from official history, ideologies and propaganda from all sides, a moving story drawn from the sources of life, closer to Algeria and Camus.
