The Curious Bards, an ensemble composed of musicians from the baroque scene

passionate about Celtic music invites you to discover a repertoire from Scotland and

from Ireland that has survived through the ages.

The Scottish Strathspey, with its strong character, the Irish slip-jigs with the rhythm

unleashed will alternate with the hornpipes, particularly appreciated and used by

Handel himself! Moving ballads as well as traditional pieces

revisited by composers of the time (variations, harmonizations, etc.) will come

punctuate these suites of exalted dances to perfect this magical journey into the

18th century Gaelic lands.
