Concert « Claude Labrèche, 1699 » Musique baroque française et italienne Aline Zylberajch, clavecin
"Claude Labrèche, 1699" French and Italian Baroque Music
Aline Zylberajch, harpsichord
In 2024, the Château de Bournazel acquired an extremely rare instrument, a
harpsichord built in Carpentras in 1699 by Claude Labrèche. From this maker
important from the 17th century, only two instruments remain today, preserved
in Stuttgart and Bournazel.
Virtually intact since its manufacture, the one from Bournazel is classified as one of the
Historic Monuments and is the subject of careful protection. After a period
observation period of several months intended to eliminate the risks of deterioration of the
wood by insects and to revise the operation of its original mechanics, the
Labrèche harpsichord will be heard again on June 28th under the fingers of Aline
Zylberajch, a leading harpsichordist and teacher, particularly renowned
for his in-depth knowledge of 17th-century music. An event
inaugural event not to be missed!
