Cinédébat au VOX : C'eravamo Tanti Amati – Ettore Scola
Thursday, October 15 at 20 a.m.
Cinéma VOX 16 boulevard charles de Gaulle 12200 Villefranche-de-Rouergue
For the start of the 2026 academic year, monthly meetings with classic Italian cinema: "C'eravamo tanto amati" (We loved each other so much) was released in 1974, but it doesn't look its age!
Hosted by Andrea Pulga
Vittorio Gassman, Stefania Sandrelli, Nino Manfredi, Stefano Satta-Flores, Giovanna Ralli, Isa Barzizza, Aldo Fabrizi; just the distribution...
But it is also an opportunity for Scola to pay tribute to the great directors who preceded (and inspired) him:
De Sica (to whom the film is dedicated, and who died during filming), Fellini, Rossellini, Antonioni, Resnais… while making a historical “summary” and a personal and subtle analysis of Italian society, over the thirty years following the end of the Second World War.
The screening (in the original version with subtitles) will be preceded by a very short presentation, and followed by a discussion for those interested.
