Bestiaire en relief : crée ton animal médiéval en carte pop-up
Wednesday October 21
Maison du Gouverneur Centre d'interprétation de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine 1 rue du Château 12270 Najac
Immerse yourself in the world of the Middle Ages with your family and let your imagination run wild!
During this creative workshop, linked to the temporary exhibition "Bêtes d'expo!" at the Governor's House, the Villefranche-based illustrator Shibanni guides young and old in the creation of an original pop-up card featuring an animal inspired by medieval bestiaries, dressed in period costumes: knight, queen, monk or troubadour.
Using colored paper, scissors and markers, you will learn the basics of pop-up while discovering how, in the Middle Ages, animals were often depicted with human clothing and roles.
A fun and artistic moment to share with the family, to leave with a unique and whimsical creation.
