Family walk: edible wild plants in Sainte-Croix
What if nettles weren't just a plant to avoid? With Michaël Fayret, a wild picker and passionate botanist, young and old alike will discover that hidden behind their spines are unsuspected virtues. And that's just one example: wild flowers, discreet herbs, and colorful berries will soon hold no secrets for you. All with a fun approach! For the little ones, Michaël pulls magnifying glasses, boxes, and other accessories out of his bag to transform the walk into a real family expedition.

🛶 Wednesday, September 10 – 9 a.m.
Canoe trip along the Aveyron in Villefranche
Want to see nature in a different way? Grab a paddle and let yourself glide down the Aveyron with a guide from Mixed Union of the Upstream Aveyron Watershed (SMBV2A). Between flora, fauna, and little local anecdotes, you'll discover the river like a true explorer. Bonus: you'll leave with memories full of your head... and toned arms, without even having set foot in the gym.

🦦 Wednesday, September 10 – 10 a.m.
Walk on the trail of the European otter in Monteils with Anthony Vieillard
Forget Sherlock Holmes, make way for Anthony Vieillard! This nature educator takes you on a search for clues left by the most discreet of local stars: the European otter. Tracks, habitat, lifestyle... You'll discover a whole host of things about this adorable animal! An Aveyron-style safari, without mosquito nets or a 10-hour flight.

🌱 Sunday, September 14 – 15 p.m.
Edible wild plant walk in Villeneuve
If you missed the Sainte-Croix outing (or if you're asking for more), Michaël Fayret is back for a new session. Discover the plants that line our paths: wild flowers, herbs with a thousand virtues, small colorful berries... Enough to impress your friends at the next picnic: "Did you know that you can eat these?"

Guided tours and guided walks continue in October! Download the full program here.
